Dear parents and guardians,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Important to remember: this Thursday, we have our first day of ECO. On Thursday, we will be outside from 9-12, rain or shine. Please make sure that your child is dressed in warm clothes, has appropriate footwear (boots, hiking boots, sneakers, etc), and brings a snack and water.
Last weeks learning:
Reading and writing: we are still working on non fiction text features-- ask your child, I'm sure they can name several! In writing, students have decided on a topic that they know a lot about. They are going to teach their readers about a readers about the tropic using nonfiction elements we have been discussing.
Theme: We are starting to get into Vermont history! Students have learned a lot about the landscape and landforms.
Let's hope for a stellar week!
