Blogger of the week: Lilith
This week we had lots of fun! On Thursday we will go on our field trip, and if you didn't know, are are going to Ben and Jerry's and Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Both of these places are important to Vermont!
This afternoon for theme we are going to pretend we are working in a factory to learn what it felt like to be a woman or child working in a factory.
In writing we are finishing body paragraphs about our event, person, or place.
In reading, we are continuing our book groups and learning about using evidence support.
In word work we are mastering the apostrophe.
Pictures of the field trip to come....
Here is a song that I wrote:
Prayers
Say your prayers, before bed.
And hope that god gives mercy to you.
Say your prayers, before bed.
Before you know it you'll be asleep.
Say your prayers, before bed.
And hope that god gives mercy to you.
Say your prayers, before bed.
Before you know it you'll be asleep.
Look around, it's still night, but a bright light shines.
Look around, god's in front of you.
Before you can speak he says, " my dear child, you have wished upon a stare, for the prayers you spoke are my star.
You wish to end the feud.
For you know that no one will survive the pain.
So, say your prayers and hope to god, that if he shows in your room that it's that it'll be alright.
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Hope that god gives mercy to you, mercy to you.
Say your prayers!
